The Dampier Community Hub is located in the heart of Dampier

Home to local services, businesses and organisations, the Hub also has spaces available for hire

 

 

The Dampier Community Hub is located at 3 High St Dampier, in the heart of our town and within walking distance of the Dampier Shopping Centre and Dampier Primary School. The Hub building houses the Dampier Community Association (DCA), Dampier Art Space, Dampier Community Garden, Dampier Library, Dampier Pharmacy, Dampier Playgroup, Milk & Kindness, Pilbara Cosmetic, and Montessori Early Years Learning & Child Care Centre.

The DCA manages the community spaces within the Hub building, on behalf of facility owner the City of Karratha, with all profits used to support DCA’s operations for the benefit of our community. The Community Hub has two Multi-Purpose Rooms, the Community Hall, the Lesser Hall and the Hub foyer Art Exhibition Space available for community or commercial hire.

The Community Hall has a stage equipped with a sound & lighting system and a rear data projector & large screen, as well as access to change rooms. This Hall can accommodate up to 200 people, whilst the Lesser Hall and both Multi-Purpose Rooms (MPR1 & MPR2) can comfortably fit 30 people, with a maximum capacity of 50. MPR2 is also home to the Dampier Art Space. A shared kitchen and toilet facilities are accessible from all venues and tables & chairs are included with hire.
