As promised I'm sharing with you all the heart of the DCA...

Here is the Golden Girl of the DCA.

Sharon Vertigan

Sharon has lived here in Dampier for 25 years and has been, and still is, our well loved Dampier Primary School Kindergarten teacher for most of that time.

Along with Sharon’s passion for early childhood learning she loves The Arts and visual arts in particular, with Theatre as her true love. She spent many years as part of the Dampier and Districts Repertory Company. Maybe FeNaCle Fanny will grace us with her presence again one day…. .

DCA Achievements : Sharon is currently our longest standing DCA committee member with 26 years of service to the Dampier community, she has served as both President and Vice President in that time . Sharon was also the Dampier Ward Councillor for 8 1/2 years. Sharon was heavily involved in the establishment of the Dampier Community Plan 2014 - 2019 she is a constant, reliable volunteer at all DCA run events from markets to movies, annual art awards to our Citizen of the year awards.
