We came we saw now it's time to get involved.......

Sunday was a beautiful afternoon here at the community hub for our Damnpier Open Day. We saw what lots of clubs and groups have to offer, now is the time to get out and about.

Join a club, be more active, set your roots….. There’s no where better than Dampier .

A big thank to to all you came - To the City’s community team for the free sausage sizzle and drinks . Rio community team, Reach Us, karratha SES, HHBSC, The Seafarers and of course my own DCA team for keeping us up to date with their community engagement plans. To DPS P+C for the sweet treats and the Firies for endless entertainment on the truck. To the Netball ladies, The Sharks, The Red Dogs, The Squash and the Nippers for sharing their sporting knowledge. Thanks to Draw & Learn and Karratha Family Center for enhancing the creative sides of our little people. To Montessori and Playgroup for opening their doors to us. And last but by no means least to Kristy Konga and the kids from Dampier Performance Arts for entertaining us.

We had the added bonus of having the Dampier Art Exhibition open throughout the day with over 200 visitors choosing their People Choice nomination.
